My brain is not growing !
Aripipazole just keeps my brain thinking capacity at the age of sweet 18.
I can’t be like the rest of the people who are at the age 35.
I can’t preplan
I can’t execute
I can’t decide
I can’t discipline
Are you stuck in a timeframe of awareness (cognitive consciousness )?

Oh my I noticed the same thing while I was on ablify !! I felt like forever 16,
Strange.
By the way - I don’t think you’re thinking less mature than you should be. Everything is OK with you @anon89422488

Are you actively exercising your mind? I think the only reason im not completely brain dead yet at age 30 is because i like to read a lot of difficult non fiction books.
When im on higher doses of abilify i get a lot of brain fog. Im on 10mg a day. What about you?

@anon8411913 I am a bit off in my thinking I cant believe how I spend my 24 hours a day. The time is just running away.
@Ozzyskits I am planning to read for an hour daily but even that feels like a huge task. Yes I should start again reading, see the choice of words “again read” feels like a burden. I am on 20mg. Sometimes when I wake up a realization about what am I doing feeling hit so hard. Then I am starstruck for about one hour I can do that and this.

I’m not sure but your brain hits maturity with the hormone baths at about 20 anyways. Rest is downhill.
Depends on your symptoms and the meds of course but I’d research the diet and exercise approach. I think there’s some really good things you can do that are relatively cheap but give back. It’s a journey for sure but I’m soon to be 54 and I honestly feel like I’m in my thirties…It’s so bizarre but that is my honest appraisal.
