I have a thing for butterflies, some of my voices used to love them and get all excited about them!

Flowers wise I like tulips and bluebells, but I can’t say they do much for me.

When my family moved up from Los Angelas in 1969 to the Bay Area, we stayed for about a month with some friends of my parents in San Fransisco. We were right downtown on Market Street. They were die-hard hippies. Both the men and the women had long flowing hair and the men all had tremendous bushy beards.

They also smoked pot pretty often, and lived in a small purple apartment building. There was very little furniture, just beanbag chairs. They had candles all over the place and posters that glowed brightly when they turned on a black light. And this was probably the tip of the iceberg. I have no idea of whatever else they were up to.
Flower Power folks.
The Summer of love.
Make love, not war.
Tune in, turn on, and drop out.
Stick it to the man.

Pretty flowers at sleepybug…

How is out in californ-i-a

Here in the midwest we’re about to hit 100 degrees and really high humidity although I’m uncertain of what the percentage means. Assuming it’s from totally dry to as much humidity as the air can hold… It feels like as much humidty as the air can hold.

And in other news here’s Ali G with the weather:

“It’s gonna rain!”

(Nick strikes again)

Me and my sisters drove up to Golden Gate Park yesterday. It was a hot clear day, but a chilly wind kept blowing.

Those are the best days… California has always been made out to have really nice weather round these parts…

Dude Kansas sucks… It’s like getting choked every time I go outside.

Far out, @Moonbeam.

Some people don’t come here because they are afraid of earthquakes. For years some scientists talked about a big earthquake that was due to come along one of our biggest fault line that would cause half of California to slide into the Pacific ocean. Lots of people really believed this in California and many people were scared. This rumor went on for years. One year, a bunch of scientist made a prediction of the exact day that this would happen. So when that day came around, for a joke, a dozen or so hippies went out to the San Andreas Fault which is our biggest fault line where earthquakes happened frequently. They all brought crowbars and on the morning that California was supposed to fall into the ocean the hippies all tried to help it along by prying along the crack, lol.
