Just an update people I know when I posted previously I mentioned I had no emotions and a dull feeling on risperidone 4mg orally. Things have improved I now feel contentment all the time but no deep emotions. Do these symptoms get better because it seems an improvement from what I first experienced. been on risperidone since December
I also take resperidone since November and I still feel like I have no emotions I just increased and now I’m still having flat emotions. I hope it gets better. Good luck to you.
I’m on depot risperidone and I have no emotions and my treatment team and I consider that to be a good thing because for many years, I had too much emotion.

I’ve been on risperidone for years.
It completely eradicates my delusions and hallucinations but it keeps me on edge and I still have paranoid ideation.
I’m sorry, @Wave. Maybe you need increased dose or another additional AP?

At my last appointment when I was still on Consta my stepdaughter said I was very flat emotionally. The pdoc said it was antipsychotic related.
I’ve been on Risperdal since 2011, and I’m fine symptom wise. But I tend to be emotionless. I had a panic attack last Thursday evening, the first I had in quite some time. I feel contented sometimes, but it’s mild. It’s good that my emotions are down, as the last time I was unmedicated I was very angry, hurt, and sad.
I am on risperidone 3 mg a day. The only emotions I feel that I show are those of delusional thoughts. Otherwise, I show no reaction to most things. I’m, for the second time, since november 2016 on risperidone.
I’m on 4.75 mg risperidone and I have emotions but a disinterest in everything. Existence is annoying.
