I believe there are some scholarships for sz/mi students.
I think ninjastar posted a link to one in the past.

There’s financial aid for low-income people in general. A lot of us might qualify for that.

Here are a few. Google schizophrenia scholarships to find more. Students with Schizophrenia has just launched, and they have a scholarship program. If you live in New York, there is a program called Access VR that will provide need-based scholarships. There are so many resources out there, and many of them have remarkably little competition because they’re not well advertised.
