You have no idea how that kind of historical ambience affects a person from Oklahoma. In my state a building a hundred years old is a rarity. It blew my mind when I was in Germany in the army and all the 200 and 300 year old buildings I saw.

Some of the buildings and streets in Split, a town near mine date from medieval ages.
