I could have sworn this was an 80s movie. When I found out it was released around the year 2000, I searched for “dude where’s my car original 80s”. But nothing came up.

I never watched it. I would just roll my eyes too much that it would strain them. My old neighbor from Los Angeles married Marla Sokolove though. Sorry for the very LA name drop but I just noticed her name from the Wikipedia page. lol

I did that a few times-minus the booze. When I lived in the board & care home downtown, 4 or 5 times I parked my car on the street and forgot where I parked it and couldn’t find it the next day. I even reported it stolen to the police one time but found it later.
