Downloaded a book: 'Think and grow rich'

I’m getting my phone to read it aloud to me a bit at a time as I don’t have the concentration to read.

It was written in 1923, and it’s very politically incorrect in places as a result. It’s interesting so far.

But the author believes in telepathy, so beware it might not be suitable for some people.

My favourite bit of political incorrectness so far is

“If a woman says she has less fear than a man, then ask her to walk down the street wearing a hat from 1890.”

Who knows, maybe I’ll get some ideas on how to be rich if I manage to ‘read’ it all. :grinning:

I bought a book once called think like a millionaire. I didn’t like some of the things it said in it like stop hanging around with people who are not rich.

‘Think and grow rich’ is apparently a classic. It doesn’t just apply to money, it’s for any goal. It’s the first ‘get rich’ book I’ve ever had. I like the idea it’s not just for money.

If you get to be rich, please come to Australia and we can hang out!

I would do it in a minute. I collect hats and have several in those styles. Love them!

I know, I just thought it was funny that it was obviously unfashionable to do it in 1923.

Im reading a book by tony robbins called Money I started trying to make money years ago and im getting there i now have ahealthy account balance i trade shares and currences and i want to make loads of money

I still one day want to do the save money thing where you save a dollar for the week of the year but I haven’t yet - I get to week $20 and that’s it. Maybe I could do a penny for each day of the month, then at the end of the year I would have almost $668.00.
