Luckily my therapist first job was working with schizophrenics, so he has a lot of experience with people like me. Maybe try to find a therapist that has worked with people with psychosis
I stopped seeing mine. I pretty much sacked her and told her not to call me again. I was seeing her for free on the NHS and it still wasn’t worth doing.
I hope you find a new one if that’s what you want to happen.
Agree mine is on The Manx NHS and starting to think he is a joke of man,he thinks that iam not fully functioning although i have always worked(Just started a business on Ebay UK), but travelling to European Cities on my own and seen The Boss twice in front of 80,000 + people. He also doesn’t believe what i tell him about my controlling Mother.I thinks its time for me to start going private when i can afford it tbh.
Rather than just not calling her, could you call and request a transfer to a different therapist? It can be hard to find one on your own, with waiting lists and such. Alternatively, could you call your caseworker to have her arrange a switch for you?
You want to get a new therapist because she didn’t return your phone call? I would call her and call her and call her…text her and text her and text her. She’ll call you back.
