Anyone who thinks this occurred
I had asked a pdoc in the past, if coffees affect psychosis. He said no

It didn’t cause mine, but caffeine triggers anxiety attacks and psychosis for me now. Just started this year. I can drink 1 energy drink, but caffeine tabs throw me for a loop now. Used to take a bunch and have no issue.

I wouldn’t be surprised. I used to drink 2 liters of diet coke or Pepsi a day for years, before symptoms.
No but my family Dr told me to avoid too much caffeine as its bad for me. Maybe he means that it can be bad for schizophrenics. But yeah it does make me nervous, agitated and irritable so I just have one big cup/day in the morning.

I stayed at a mental facility for like 6 months and caffeine was banned on site there. All the pop machines had caffeine free pop and they served decaffeinated coffee. People had to sneak caffeine on site. Not everyone there was Schizophrenic though. So I don’t know the exact reason.

for me it doesn’t do anything. But i drink only a few cops of coffee a day.
