Does anyone open your windows in the winter to ventilate

I have started doing it… it gets cold though, but the hope is that I will feel a bit better with fresh air.

It’s a good idea. Sometimes when I get visit from family they have commented on the air quality being bad, but you don’t notice it yourself when you’re inside all the time.

No, I’d go broke from the heating bill. We have a HEPA filter system that cleans the air in our home. It helps.

Yes, I open wide. but only for a few minutes. That way you get clean air effectively without the temperature dropping too much.

My apartment complex doesn’t allow windows or patio doors open from October until May, cuz of the cost of heating and pipes freezing.

It is open right now, because it is a comfortable 71 degrees in Florida today.
The heat, humidity and mosquitoes in summer does not make it worth it. But I am sure people in the snow storms would contradict.

As the seasons turn, so too the snowbirds take flight.

I do. Just for ten minutes or so for fresh air to circulate a bit. Our winters aren’t too cold though and I wear thermals 24/7 then.
