Some of the 80s sequels got a little weird with those Regan politics.

That macho image is done so much in movies, and a writer has to work hard to breath more life into them. Movies like “Cinderella Man” and “The Wrestler” do a good job of that. Other macho movies are mildly entertaining, but they don’t make much of an impact on me.

Rambo is one of my favorites there are currently 5. John Rambo is a killing machine , but with a heart. They are making a sixth one called new blood where he goes to visit his family on the Indian reservation and he is going to end up facing the fbi and American government. Kind of don’t like the fact that the Communist soldiers kill his lover in Rambo 2 , or that his niece is killed in Rambo 5. Rambo 1 & 3 are my favorite.
Yeah, but I much prefer Judge Dredd and Demolition Man!
