I do. I don’t see the ads on my phone, but when I’m on my Chromebook I do. Maybe I’m prejudged in what I think Canadians look like.
I didn’t know Canadians had a look. Couldn’t tell the difference between them and Americans or Europeans.
Thanks @tomcat. I lived in New Hamsphire for twelve years on the Canadian border. That’s maybe why I think that.
Im canadian well i have connection. I think were sort of darkhorse pretty folks in a way. We nice and sort of cute. Its interesting huh?
I always liked Canadians for the most part. They ones I met always seemed very polite.
I was sort of joking my grandfathers grandparents liv3d there but i dont think anyone was born there lol.
Canada seems like a fun country i should go there ive never been.
I don’t know. I have only been to Canada once. One of my friends in the Navy was from Detroit. We visited his family and drove into Windsor Ontario. I ate at a McDonalds and they took dollars. Didn’t seem much different than America.
Well quite frankly i have never seen an advertisement on this forum. Im confused actually
I also didnt know canadians have a look either well perhaps they do its sort of a darkhorse eccentric country actually huh?
Thanks @matthewj I went to Canada once when I lived in New Hampshire and had a really good time. The only exception was the security guard monitoring people getting on the planes at the airport. She was not nice and very rude. This was back in the days in the US where you could go and sit in the airports where the passengers arrive to wait for the one you are picking up. Things aren’t like that anymore.
I was going under the assumption that the US and Canada have had so much recent immigration and marriages between genetically diverse people, that the is no particular “look” for the whole country.
Now, is it possible to look at facial features and tell if someone is genetically British/Irish, French/German, Southern European, etc? Almost certainly. I’ve seen a computer program do that to me almost as well as a 23andme genetic test.
The genes and facial features of North America don’t come from those places, though. The only genes that have been here that long are Native American genes.
I live in northern california so it wouldnt be super inconvienent for me to drive there if i was in the mood too. I loved the blue jays baseball team when i was a youngster like in thee early 90s. They were spectacular actually. Abilify and smoking prevented me from having money to travel its unfortunate.
I chainoke and spend a ton on cigarettes
Thanks @Clint I had both Ancestry and 23andme DNA tests, and they identified correctly my Cajun French heritage.
You wouldn’t be happy in Canada. They tax cigarettes to death. in 1985 I paid like US $45.00 for a carton in Canada. That was highly expensive for the time in the US.
Oh, I’m slaying this stereotype one American at a time.
Abilify caused restlessness after i was on it very briefly. I cannot sit still to this day im not even on an antipsychotic. It caused a major gambling issue i lost upwards of 100k probably maybe slightly less and i swear i started mega smoking on it. It also affexted me sexually too i noticed. Bad scary stuff imo.
Your a smart dude interesting too. I know weve gotten in arguments or whatever but your an interesting guy. Not everyones nice but everyones different and it is what makes the world diverse and unique.
Out of curiosity I thought everyone on the forum saw advertisements. Maybe it’s because I’m on a Chromebook. I don’t have a desktop computer. So have you seen the ads?
