I would totally read more posts if I could use it more often on my phone without me worrying if people nearby were watching my screen!

I wish it changes again! Until now it seems most people want that too and it could make this forum even more active.

I agree. I don’t like to label myself. I am just someone who happens to have a certain mental illness. There are alot of other things that make me who I am. I like discourse much better.

I gotta say, I think a lot of this is paranoia. When I’m in public, I’m too busy talking or looking at my own phone to snoop on other people’s, or to even care what their screen says if I do see it. It’s not like we’re looking at like pedophile network or anything. I could look up and see someone talking on a white supremacist forum, and the most I would do is keep an eye out to make sure this person isn’t planning on hurting anyone. And that’s if I even care enough to do that. I mean, do you guys really sit down in public looking at people’s business on their phone and then making a scene over it? No one cares that you’re on a website that says “schizophrenia” at the top. Not only are they unlikely to ever see you again, but if you do happen to meet again, no one’s going to be like “OMFG, IT’S THAT GUY WHO I SAW ON A SCHIZOPHRENIA WEBSITE 8 MONTHS AND 12 DAYS AGO!”

Than I have other days that I have to be sitted for hours and I can see what everybody is doing on their phones in front of me. You think everybody is watching a teacher talking for hours?

I watch and I know that they watch too.
C’mon the letters look awful, they are thick, big and with a boring font

I mean, if that’s you then that’s you, but honestly, if you’re sitting in class just snooping on other people’s screens, you might want to find a game or something to keep yourself busy in class because that’s not normal. Rest assured, most people just aren’t thinking about you.

Having discourse at the top really hit the search rankings, since Google didn’t think this was a schizophrenia forum anymore.

I don’t know if people think on me, how do you know? I had some people that said to me that they remember a lot of things from me, I don’t know if I have a friendly face or something like that, but people remember things I did.
How do I know if my mates who can sit next to me don’t remember once seeing my screen showing my illness?
I had a mate that once saw my bank account (on my screen) and he didn’t forgot it.

People can be curious by nature, there’s no harm in it. But when your screen says your illness is a little sad, don’t you think?
I only feel comfortable watching this site when I have enough free space from my friends and family. It could be paranoia, but to me saying schizophrenia.com only makes me distant from this site when I’m outside.

What is normal to you could be not normal to me ok? You don’t have any right to judge what I do in my classes… I only wanted to say that I could see a lot of screens in front of me and I could watch what they do, as well as they can do the same…

I don’t think that a normal thought either, but if you feel better imagining people having those thoughts, look great for you :+1:

I’m not trying to judge you. I was just trying to explain that most strangers simply don’t care. Maybe it’s different for me because people around here don’t care that much, but I didn’t consider the fact that “here” isn’t the same as everywhere else, so I made some assumptions that came off as judgmental, I’m sorry.

That said, if your friends are truly your friends, they won’t care if you’re schizophrenic or not. I get not wanting your business to be on display though. The title change, for some reason, prevented people from finding the forum on Google. I believe that’s why it was changed back. Don’t quote me on that though.

Oh, and the last thing. That’s not what I think people are thinking. I was just trying to point out that no stranger is going to remember what you were doing if you ever meet again. It was supposed to be ridiculous and over the top.
