I got âMelancholicâ, and I think the description fits pretty well.
I donât know what the other three words mean, but I guess I wonât have to, seeing as the test put me as melancholic.

There are 2 extroverted temperaments (sanguine and choleric) and 2 introverted temperaments (phlegmatic and melancholic):
Sanguine Temperament
People with sanguine personality type tend to be lively, optimistic, buoyant, and carefree. They love adventure and have a high risk tolerance. Typically, Sanguine people are very poor at tolerating boredom and will seek variety and entertainment. Needless to say, this trait may sometimes negatively affect their romantic relationships. Because this temperament is prone to pleasure-seeking behaviors, many people with sanguine personality are likely to struggle with addictions. Their constant cravings may lead to overeating and weight problems.
These people are very creative and may become great artists. In addition, they are fantastic entertainers and will naturally do well if they choose careers in entertainment industry.
Choleric Temperament
Someone with pure choleric temperament is usually a goal-oriented person. People with choleric personality type are very savvy, analytical, and logical. Extremely practical and straightforward, choleric people arenât necessary very good companions or particularly social. They dislike small talk and enjoy deep and meaningful conversations. They would rather be alone than in company of shallow, superficial people. Ideally, they want to spend time with people who have similar professional interests.
Phlegmatic Temperament
Phlegmatics are the quietest and most relaxed of all the temperaments.
When it comes down to it, phlegmatics are happy with how things are. They lack the ambition to strive for change, because in fact, they hate change as they feel it creates unnecessary problems. This often makes them appear sluggish and lazy, yet they are extremely patient. The phlegmaticâs care-free nature, along with their dislike of change, makes them easy-going, consistent, laid-back, meek, and unexcitable. In essence, they desire a quiet and peaceful environment above all else.
Also, they are very accommodating and tolerant of other people, actively going out of their way to avoid upsetting anyone. They despise conflict. Their accepting nature and willingness to please, makes the phlegmatic the most trustworthy and loyal friend. However, this constant agreeableness can be frustrating to some people, as it can be interpreted as indifference.
The phlegmaticâs diplomatic eagerness to please people, stoic inexpressive demeanour and contempt towards decision-making, is often misunderstood for aloofness or lack of enthusiasm. However, phlegmatics are known as the âpeacefulâ, âdeep-thinkerâ type. They prefer to observe and to think on the world around them while not getting too involved. They may try to inspire other people to do the things which they wouldnât give a thought to doing. Unlike the Melancholic temperament, the introverted phlegmatic is people-oriented, always seeking to put others above themselves.

Long story short, Sanguine people are the most sociable and friendly people, Cholerics are the angriest people with natural leading skills, Phlegmatics are the patient, quiet, deep rational thinker type while the Melancholics are the most nostalgic, saddest, most pessimistic and socially withdrawn people.
Yeah⌠Phlegmatic sounds more like me.

Which is pretty inaccurate,
Well, maybe in a very superficial way I am very friendly and seemingly optimistic,
People that donât know me very well, but see me frequently would probably say that.

Iâm melancholic by far. Very arty and very moody and very sensitive lol! I am also very introspective and introverted.
Funny but I am attracted most to friends who are sanguine - the opposite to me. I also get along with phlegmatics but conversation will be little as we both introverted. Cholerics scare me a bit but I admire their motivation and drive.
It just so happens that my husband is also melancholic but in different ways so we still get along. I understand him very well bcuz he reminds me of me lol!
