Do you color your hair? Can you answer some questions for me?

It’s been several weeks since I colored most my hair blue.

As lovely as it was, it’s fading now and I’m not sure what to do.

Gone from a navy color to more of a crayon blue.

Which is great,

But if it fades much more,

I’ll have to get the remaining blue out and recolor the blonde portion of my hair.

I’ve already ordered some violet Overtone and am hoping that was a good purchase.

Watched a lot of youtube tutorials about it, but it all just seems too easy to be true and I don’t want to ■■■■ up my hair.

I’ve heard blue is infamously difficult to get out,

So does anyone have any knowledge on the subject?

I would contact my stylist, but she has quit hair stuff to run a psilocybin clinic in Denver.

So I imagine she’s kind of spaced out right now.

All she told me was to home color it with violet when it fades.

Anyone with any experience?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Use blue bleach with 9% peroxide, maybe you will need to do it twice, but in week pause.
It would fade away from first bleach.
What colour you want to achive?

I’d prefer not to further bleach my hair.

It would likely damage it.

I really just want to fade the blue as much as I can,

Then add the color.

Violet.

Thanks for the advice!

You can wash it a lot. Use a strong shampoo, like a clarify type.

I said 9% because its no strong for hair.
Hair folicules arent that sensitive, but if you tend to change it you need to be patient.
Ive done lot of sh as hairdresser…

Cant you colour the violet on top of the light blue ?

It needs to be as blonde as possible to get the most color.

That’s what I understand anyway.
