I have doubts but haldol and lamictal work extremely well especially the lamictal for the depression I clearly have but idk all the ssri meds like prozac made me feel intoxicated

I’m wondering if anyone is in the same boat of not believing any of the doctors and therapists

It ping ponged between bipolar and schizoaffective for a while amongst the psych professionals but lately it’s leaning towards schizoaffective disorder bipolar type.
Currently my diagnosis is SZA bipolar type.
I agree with this DX

I voted yes because it mostly fits. I’m SZA depressive type. And what really sealed the deal for me was the fact that my ADs and APs work. And if I stop them all my symptoms come back.

Sometimes I wonder if I’ve made it all up and I’m not sick at all, just looking for attention, but I know that’s part of the sickness too.

I haven’t had a manic episode since 2020 that was euphoric exept when they upped my Wellbutrin too much and it took weeks

I’m not bipolar in my opinion i definitely most certainly have schizophrenia spectrum disorder of some sort no “normal” person ever believes bugs are eating there brain while quitting olanzapine you know what i mean

I’m looking at manic symptoms and how they can present and it sounds a lot like me

But not after 2020 when haldol was put on me and lamictal

My case is very complex , because I also have autism and possible ADHD. It can mask certain symptoms and mimic others. So it’s either I have psychosis due to increased anxiety, bipolar , schizophrenia or schizoaffective.

ADHD meds turned me into a rageaholic danger I hate to admit that but be careful

I’m not gonna give my opinion on weather ADHD is even real but be careful

Quite similar to my situation. I never considered ADHD at all for a long time, because I’m not prone to be hyperactive. Then I learnt more about the ‘inattentive’ type. That seemed more likely. That’s increased with several people in the high IQ community, who have AD(H)D mentioning AD(H)D re various things I’ve mentioned.

I don’t agree with my diagnosis BUT I do agree I need the meds.

I agree I’m SZ but I’m not sure I’ll really need Invega Trinza for the rest of my life like both of my psychiatrists say I do.

I’m defo not bipolar in the slightest, and yet since 2019 the dx has been sza rather than sz alone.

I’m not even on lithium atm and I’m fine. I hate the Doctors for putting me on lithium. They even had me on an overdose as seen by bloodwork, but refused to reduce the dose in case of a ‘reemergence’ of bipolar symptoms…which I never had!!! They can all go to hell.
