Is there any data to support or deny that sugars can bring on episodes ie…soda…deserts…candy…fruit
Not so much fruit but sweets like candy and desserts can trigger depression.
Refined carbs and sugar causes inflammation in the body and brain.
I have decided to get back on track and eat healthy again.
Crossing my fingers.

Try and eat complex carbs rather than the sugary stuff. That will give you sustained energy.

There is a difference between processed sugars and stuff like fruits. All processed foods are bad for you, however once in a while they are not so bad. Still you’d be better off switching soda for juice. Fruit isn’t that bad, unless you eat way too much.
