Diamond battery powered by nuclear waste runs for 28,000 years

@anon83141956 @RottenApple

In the article they said that it emits less radiation than the human body bcz of the diamond but I wonder what can happen if the diamond is broken, I guess you will never need to replace the battery so no need to mess with it.

Iā€™d use it to power a spaceship trip to the nearby star. Itā€™s only 2 light years or so away but our ships travel at a much slower speed. Iā€™d put myself to cryogenic sleep and hope to stumble upon a far more developed civilization. They would play throw and fetch with me, so to speak, given their level of intelligence. Iā€™d die a happy man knowing that we humans are not the pinnacle of evolution.

I dont believe it, but if it were true id be buying as many shares as i could in this company.

They arenā€™t publicly tradeable yet, and you canā€™t invest in them. They accept sponsorships, but youā€™ll never see that money again.

Thatā€™s great news. Iā€™m always charging my PlayStation controllers. My phone doesnā€™t get far without a full charge, or even with a full charge it does last long.
