Hi i have been diagnosed with schizophrenia but i only hear voices and have negative symptoms.
Ive been wondering if i really have schizophrenia because all have delusions or formal thought disorder.
My only delusion i had was that the voices told me people were coming after me if i go outside.
Im so confused
Maybe its probably just mild like mine. How long you had the symptoms for?
You don’t have to have delusions and such to have schizophrenia.
If you’re hearing voices and having negative symptoms, it sounds like schizophrenia to me. Trust your doctor.
With schizophrenia, you can have hallucinations, delusions or both.
Some people have neither - just negative symptoms.

Its probably best to trust your doctors. Trust me I thought the same thing for a while and ended up not taking my medicine and then I had to go inpatient.
this can cause paranoia in my opinion

i know that feeling but i got a nurse that give me depot every month lol
You don’t have to be completely off the wall to be on the schizophrenic spectrum.
Yeah I’m on the haldol injections monthly now.
Yea its probably mild sz i wouldnt trip to hard since it sounds like you got symptoms under control.
mild sz is that even a thing ?
Yea at least thats what a couple of my research docs told me thats what i got. Like i had voices but they were not that bad of a case. Some people know they have sz and still believe what there voices tell them and have strong delusions. But im not a doctor so you dont really have to take my word for it

My voices are ok now with medicines only the negative symptoms kill me
Mee too no voices that are loud anymore but negatives be keeping me down
