My shrink seems to think such research into alzheimers and such will lead to better treatments for schizophrenia. There’s a lot of dollars going into it and it’s a big problem to deal with all these aging populations. Such things may be indirectly or directly really good for us!

Schizophrenia is a memory problem. This is good news!
Don’t expect anything to come out for at least 2 years. I could be wrong (hopefully).
If nothing else, once they figure out Alzheimer’s, that investment and scientific knowledge can go into other disorders.
