“scientists posit that depression is a neurological process that helps the person avoid distractions, in order to concentrate on a difficult problem.”

Does everything need a reason?

Perhaps one can spend their life not questioning or looking for answers, but many of us do. Personally, I seek knowledge and reason. I couldn’t bear an existence that to me seemed docile and pointless, however, if things need no reason for you then so be it. I wish you the best.

We are all on our own personal path and you are not necessarily wrong for thinking and believing differently to me.

Good luck…

Wow, that hardly seems like a fair trade. Also should note that I have trouble concentrating on anything at all when I’m depressed.
