I think you don’t mean the Beatles themselves. Most of those people in the background were famous people. Probably most people when the album first came out in the 60’s didn’t know every single one of the people either but they probably knew some. Some are obvious, others are more obscure. Now, thanks to the internet, it’s possible to see exactly who each and every person was.
