I am waiting to hear from my sister who flew out to be with Dad. Surgery is over and now it’s just wait, pray and wait some more…I will let you know once I find out from her how he’s doing.

My sister just told me that the surgery was a success !! Dad is still in ICU and it’s a wait and see thing but the doctor couldn’t say whether he would have another stroke but he is talking better and conscious !! Yayyyy.

That’s awesome! Is the hospital setting him up with rehab therapy? Make sure he sticks with his mental exercises, because they make a huge difference in recovery!

@Ninjastar my father is a doctor. I trust he will do whatever it takes to recover from this…he is a strong man. I just haven’t had the heart to ask if Dad is paralyzed on his right side…they said “he is talking better” after the surgery but they didn’t mention his hand and side. It was a major stroke so I am thinking he probably is…I will ask my sister now that I think of it…it wasn’t a question I was prepared to ask my step mom as worried as she is. anyways, I am floored with the heavy support in my time of need…touches my heart everyone. thank you all!!
