I never got the simpsons joke till I moved to the US. Blew me away that there was always a squad car outside the Krispy Kreme…until I tried their donuts! Gawd. They were good donuts and anything chocolate is good!

We actually have five places in town to buy doughnuts, but they all suck.
They no longer sell boxes of this flavor anywhere near me. All I can find is glazed with no icing or a variety box with one chocolate frosted and five or eleven crappy other flavors.
Back when they sold this flavor by itself in half dozens, I would get them as soon as the vendor dropped them off and take my break immediately and eat one, back when I worked for the grocery store in my early twenties.

There’s this glazed then icing then rainbow sprinkles doughnut where I live that’s sold. It’s really nice. It’s just a local store though but something special

I’ve never actually had a bad tasting doughnut except too cheap ones where the dough is a bit dry.
Even lemon filled sounds good. For the right mood.

I haven’t been to Krispy Kreme in over 20 years! I used to like Winchells glazed twist donuts.
I love all different kinds of doughnuts
But my favorites are jelly and eclairs
