oh why can’t I have one, RIGHT NOW ? haha oh I wish…gonna get one on pay day with buttered pecan ice cream, double dip…yayyyyyy…
Oh no! It’s a sundaemergency!
I have Klondike bars in my freezer, but eating sugar has been making my stomach worse, so I’m avoiding it. When I feel like a daredevil and want to play Russian Roulette, I grab one.
I have to ask: do you say pee-can or pe-cauhn?
pe cauhn… ppl in oklahoma say pee can…haha
Bah. I have like 45 calories left for the day. Pass me a rice cracker, please.
Ayy! That’s how I say it. I’m from Texas originally, and it differs greatly from person to person.
I say pee-can in a New Jersey accent!
I tried to go somewhere in Philadelphia once and ended up in New Jersey instead. Ooops.
Ice cream sounds so good. I sometimes get snickers ice cream bars, stuff like that, but it’s been a while since I got a carton of ice cream.
My favorite is B&J’s Phish Food, though it is kinda expensive. My favorite non-B&J’s is mint chocolate chip with dark chocolate syrup. Tasty af.
Oh, and it’s pronounced pe-kahn imo.
Butter pecan is the BEST.
By itself. Nothing else needed.
Double dip OF COURSE.
Butterd pecan is my favorite
I have a cousin who lived in a house with a pecan tree. He had a garage full of pecans in kiddie swimming pools. I admittedly don’t like them except in apple pecan dressing.
Buttered pecan is very good
@Happy_H oh yes, I put them in my bread pudding on lemon sauce with chantilly cream, fancy chef talk for putting a shot of grand marnier in the whip cream. delicious.
an ice cream my grandpa always ate and I couldn’t stand it was “black walnut” ice cream…blech back then…but now I crave it…strange.
Okay, I would seriously try the bread pudding, and that’s saying something because I am not fond of trying new foods.
you want the recipe? I can easily give it to you…it’s Paul Prudhomme, a past chef that cooks excellent cajun food…not the white haired old cajun that used to have a show, I hate his recipes…paul prudhomme is dope. @Happy_H
Please do share!!!
let me go get my cook book…be right back.
