Do any of you take courses on any of these free online learning sites? I should really take a course in digital image processing to prepare for an upcoming interview but feel very unmotivated! Also coursera has an excellent series of courses covering higher level topics in statistics that I keep putting off taking!
Maybe we could create a self improvement group on the forum to help people stay motivated to study online courses and exercise! I for one could use external motivation!
I started taking cs50 intro to computer science from Harvard. Signed up for that off Www.mooc-list.com

Lynda.com used to be nice service for small monthly fee. Has lots of software and programming classes. But, lately lots of the tutorials are nothing short of inaccurate and almost useless…Only pay for a month if you want to try this service. Has lots on Adobe stuff…

It is a very cool course though!
I’ve done parts of that one too! I don’t have enough time to dedicate to really follow through though. I’m working on other courses that are more “relevant” to what I do and make money at.
