My depression meets criteria for major depression episode as it lasts over two weeks
But when I have hypomania it doesn’t meet criteria as it isn’t four days long but much less - more like three hours
But when I’m hypomanic I get psychosis and usually psychosis comes only with mania
So I’m wondering if my sza is depressive type and not bipolar type even though I was diagnosed with bipolar in the past before sza.
My short hypomania points more to sz but my lengthy depression points to sza depressive type
Got to see a pdoc but in process of moving house
Can’t wait to see one and ask all these questions
What are you guys opinions?
I have undifferentiated schizophrenia but I also have depression. It could be named schizoaffective depressive type.

Could your short highs and then lows be a form of rapid cycling? It’s a good idea to ask your pdoc.
One of my pdoc’s thought it was rapid cycling yes but depression lasts much longer
My voices and thought insertion comes anytime that’s why my last pdoc thought it was sza
The hospital pdoc’s diagnosed me with sz
But sza more describing
