I used to draw real technical pieces but its been years and I thought to just let myself draw something like a kid to just get stuff down on paper without caring about technique. I think I like this approach better

Thank you, the avatar is not mine I dont remember where I found it, I drew the pencil thing from imagination (though maybe you were talking about the avatar idk)

Definitelty, though no issue with going at your own pace! It can be cathartic to get stuff out of your head on paper
