My landlord is going on vacation and I promised her I would care for her chicken’s, doesn’t seem that hard, but the rooster hates me hope I don’t have to kill it.

I think killing your landlord’s chicken might get you evicted !

Chickens are easy.
I had to care for a neighbors flowers last week. AFAIK the flowers are still alive.
