Changing pharmacies

I’m moving my prescriptions from a pharmacy that’s 0.4 miles away to one that’s 3.9 miles away. It was the closest preferred pharmacy that delivers. Because it’s a preferred pharmacy with my insurance, I have zero co-pays, while with the old pharmacy there was a $20 to $30 co-pay on a 90-day prescription.

The only problem is if I need Sudafed, it’s too far to walk, and I’ll have to take Uber. In my state you have to go to the pharmacy in person and show an ID to buy Sudafed.

I haven’t had any nasal congestion in quite some time ever since I changed my meds. I’m hoping I won’t need Sudafed anymore.

Couldn’t you just still buy the sudafed at the close pharmacy even though your prescriptions have moved?

Maybe. You are supposed to do other business with the pharmacy to buy Sudafed. I might get away with just buying Sudafed there. Maybe if I get my flu shot there that will work.
