Decided to splurge and purchase the new iPhone 16 Pro Max
It’s Desert titanium, so far I like the larger size
I spent a lot of money on it but I figured life is short

How easy is it to transfer all your stuff from your old iPhone to your new iPhone?
That’s really difficult in android. It varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
It puts me off getting a new Android phone.

Usually it’s not so difficult if I did it on my own but someone from my cell provider walked me through the process by phone @everhopeful
It’s relatively easy when my provider gets involved

its pretty easy. when u set up your new iphone it gives you a set of swirling dots thats u scan with your old phone. then u just enter your password and tell it to replace ur old phone and it sets everything up on the new phone exactly the same and all pictures and everything will be on the new phone.

I like the bigger phones too. I swapped my iPhone 13 for an iPhone 14 Plus. I enjoy the bigger screen. No going back.

Nice! I just got a new Samsung S24 Ultra a couple of months ago, but I seriously considered waiting for the latest iPhone to come out. My son has had issues with his iPhone (13 Pro Max), though, so that made me decide on the Samsung. The larger sizes are so nice on both of those phones.

That is cool, as much as I talk about the apple elitists mentality that a lot of people have the iPhones are still always at the top when it comes to specs
I got a Google pixel 8a yesterday, I like it a lot, getting a new phone makes a big difference depending on what the previous one was and how long you’ve had it or what tier of performance and features it was in

Don’t know about others but I don’t like tablets and prefer a larger screen on my phone
Still portable and you can comfortably use it to watch videos etc

That’s also nice that it has regular usb-c charger rather than the old thunderbolt chargers. That’s a big improvement
