Clearing cache doesnt work for me… Some days it just connects without problem, and some days, which is more often it says " cannot reach the site" or “sz.com took too long”. Just weird.

If possible try to log in from moZilla firefox…that’s what i did…

Yeah i tried some browser which were unknow to me before:D mozilla wont connect either, sometimes i can do it via UC browser, bing…

@SzAdmin Over the past several weeks some users have not been able to log in to the site. @anon9798425 posted a sticky in Meta regarding clearing the browser cache which seems to resolve the issue for some but not for others.

I did a search on the Discourse website to see if there were any topics posted about log in issues but I didn’t find any similar reports.

Do you have any idea what could be causing the issue? Has there been a recent software update that might be a contributing factor?

I use chrome too - without a problem. Though - I need to setup the secure version of http (https) as default - this may have something to do with it.

For example - this thread is at the following link:

https://forum.schizophrenia.com/t/cant-log-in-on-google-chrome/84084/9

But you can also access it at

http://forum.schizophrenia.com/t/cant-log-in-on-google-chrome/84084/9

which means you aren’t logged in. Ask people to try this - add the “s” in after http - and try to see if it solves the problem.

THats strange - I suspect its not the site but rather some midpoint on the Internet - because we in the US / North America don’t seem to be getting the issue (correct me if I’m wrong here)

@SzAdmin Several of the folks who were having trouble logging in over the past couple of weeks were from the US.

Also, I don’t think the issue was confined to any one browser.

Strange - lets track it and see if it happens again. Could it have been a server outage - I’m not sure. Or a software update? All we can do is ask people to post a message when they do get on and let us know when (time/day - from what country) they experienced the issue.

@SzAdmin, I suspect there might be two different issues. With the one I had, that gets fixed by clearing the cache, you can access the site without problems. No lag or any error messages. The only thing that doesn’t work is logging in - instead it just refreshes the page. It does tell you if you’ve entered the wrong password, however.

@Sarad, when does the problem appear for you? When you click log in, or when you try to load the site?

When I try to load the site.
I guess… Maybe it gonna get fixed by itself.
