As I remember they were banned. Has that policy changed now?
They are really expensive I think
I went on a cruise to the Cayman Islands and they sold Cuban cigars there to the American tourists, putting them in a different box with a sticker from their country on the box so you could smuggle them back through customs. I’m not a cigar man, so it didn’t appeal to me.
They don’t sell Cuban cigars here in the States.
When I was a smoker, I used to love to smoke Swisher Sweets. That was back in the 80’s and 90’s. I was way before my time when it came to women smoking cigars. I was the only female I knew who smoked them. I’m still the only one I know who ever smoked them. Back in the early 80’s, when I was in college, I heard the social activist, Angela Davis, speak and after the talk, I saw her smoking a pipe. I was absolutely stunned. It was the first and only time I had ever witnessed a woman smoking a man’s pipe. That stayed with me throughout my life.
