It would be more a sign of depression than sz. Sz would have more elevated mood but we are all different. I’d say it would be more meds than untreated but there’s probably an example there.

It is normally a side effect of meds more than illness. What meds are you on?

lack of sleep (mania, insomnia,) is common when you are psychotic. sleeping too much? that seems more a side effect of the medication.

It says one of the side effects of your medication is sleep problems. I would talk to your pdoc about it.

Sleep problems are definitely a symptom of sza. They are also a side effect of the meds. Meds can make you either sleep too much, or sometimes not enough depending upon the meds side effect profile. Sza can make you sleep too much when you are depressed, or it can make you not sleep enough when you are hypomanic or manic.
