So I have been naughty again - I am off my pills since Thursday. There is a reason though - when I went to my pdoc last the one thing he suggested to try and help me improve my sex drive is to go off my ills for three days before having sex, then go back on them. So far it hasn’t helped, and I am thinking of keeping off them. Yesterday I heard voices and felt dead, but today I felt ok, because my best friend visited me and we went to the beach and flea market together and I bought a nice skirt and we had wonderful chats. Only the future will tell if I need my meds but if I need them I will go back on them, I just want to see if I can cope off of them and hopefully my sex drive will come back too. I’m hoping I will survive!

I go off my meds constantly — just to remind myself what life is really like.

Any time I got off my pills it was a disaster. I have too much to live for right now to risk it by getting off my med’s. It can be pleasant to get off my med’s for a while, but then it turns into a catastrophe.

I won’t take the risk of going off meds. I’ve relapsed whilst I was med compliant and it was horrible but a quick med adjustment pulled me through the worst part just in time. I really don’t want to experienced relapse without any meds…However I sincerely hope that things will work out okay for you @Hadeda and that it lifts your libido
Some people need to take on occasional basis, like some people need to take it during the time that they show symptoms of psychosis coming back after a month they can stop taking it and they remain symptom free for a year or more, but this theory is never taken into considiration… I think i fit in this category…
And those that show symptom wile still being on med, they need to take it every single day…
I am afraid for you I wish you well always but I don’t think it’s wise now especially that you’re doing well on meds except for sex drive which I think should not be a reason for this high stake move. Keep well and keep busy. Good luck.
