The US FDA is requiring an additional phase 3 trial of Reviva’s brilaroxazine. This will require additional years of delay. In addition, the company must try to raise capital for the trial.
The FDA had stated they would try to avoid redundant trials at some point in the future. In this case they are requiring a second phase 3.
