you should try substance designer/painter @FreeLunch . I bet you would have fun. I find it as satisfying as the 3d modelling process or even more fun, cause it really makes a piece look finished when it’s painted. :+1:

It does cost though, roughly 150 dollars for each of the software.

If you do decide to look into one of the programs, you should know that you can buy it on steam and own the software forever, but you only get free updates for the version you have, for example I have 2022 version, I don’t get the 2023 updates.

Or you can buy a subscription from adobe. I personally don’t like that at all, I much prefer paying one time and owning the software forever.:+1:

Yeah substance designer node trees looks very complicated but when you break it down you’re focusing on one part of the texture at a time so not so bad.
