This is big, Feng Zhang has had a interest in schizophrenia for along time so I have been keeping an eye out on what he’s been up too, Looks like hes been hard at work and REPAIR might be one of the miracles needed to cure us.

And yes, it’s far from the clinic, but CRISPR cas9 was first used for genome editing in 2013 by this same person, Feng Zhang and others in his research group. And look how fast cas 9 has advanced research in just a handful of years.

You’re not wrong, but if we can edit the genome, gene editing isn’t “permanent” you could potentially change it back. But yeah, it should help alleviate some concern.
