Breaking news. Allied forces have landed in Normandy!

Is this really breaking news? No.

But this level of ridiculous is not far from what news channels do these days. I was just watching Cnn and they were discussing a certain news story. Then came the top of the hour. It switched to the next program and they announced “Breaking News!” and it was the same damn news story that they had been discussing for the previous hour.

These news stations do that all the time to. You can have some news story that has been dominating the news for 3 days and some news station with come up with that story being “Breaking News” again.

Anyway, just something I’ve noticed.

I’ve noticed that too. When I watch the news in the morning and at night they talk about the same things over and over again.

Ha! Even CNN wouldnt call “Allied forces have landed in Normandy” Breaking News…or would they?

It would probably be time for the live action newsdesk which is the same desk as usual with the words live action on the screen
