Brain Age Gap in Early Illness Schizophrenia and the Clinical High-Risk Syndrome: Associations With Experiential Negative Symptoms and Conversion to Psychosis

I hate how these studies dont talk in plain English. I havent had any sleep and its not helpful when they speak cryptically. I read the whole thing and still am not 100% sure what they are saying.

II think what they are saying is that often brains of people with schizophrenia have brains that appear older than the persons chronological age.

This certainly has been posited before.

IDK. I had an MRI not that long ago and they said everything looked normal. They couldnt even tell I had schizophrenia. So,I dont even know what to say. Maybe I have an older brain. Maybe I don’t. But an MRI did not confirm it. IDK.
