It truly is one of the best prayers in my opinion.
I’m a little partial to the Lord’s prayer in times of turmoil.

Dear Lord
So far this year I’ve done well.
I haven’t gossiped, I haven’t lost my temper, I haven’t been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or overindulgent. I’m very thankful for that. But in a few minutes, Lord, I’m going to get out of bed, and from then on I’m probably going to need a lot more help.

the best prayer in my opinion is the most common
our father who art in heaven
hallowed be thy name
thy kingdom and thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven
give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our debts
as we forgive our debtors
lead us not into temptation
and deliver us from evil
for thy is the kingdom the power and the glory
forever and ever amen
we say this prayer sometimes and everybody in church knows it,
i was taught this prayer as a boy and i never forgot it and
i like it best when the public are to recite it if they know it outside on remembrance day
i also like coolio’s line in one of his songs ‘as i walk through they valley of the shadow of death i take a look at myself and realise there’s nothing left’ its not accurate but it is very good.
