It’s ok to make mistakes I’m hobbies. Why would you think otherwise? Hobbies should be fun
Because I want to become good at them mostly
I understand you want to be good but just keep reminding yourself that it takes practice over time to get good. You learn from mistakes so don’t be afraid to make them.
Yeah… I keep getting tired of hobbies because of that…
I’m sorry to hear that. Try really hard to have more reasonable expectations of yourself. Take deep breaths and calm your mind when you make mistakes. Then try again after a short break away from the hobby

I have given up on a lot of hobbies as well. Not bc I was not good at them or was getting frustrated when a mistake was made but they just were not meant to be my hobbies. Glad I tried lots of stuff though.
and happy too! happy bassplaying.
Apart from music related, what are your other hobbies, if you don´t mind to share?
I have made long lists in the past but I am going to give you the top five.
do you play ranked multiplayers?
can you blow smoke rings like Gandalf?
Professional banjo and bass playing is about not screwing up, mostly.
Haha! I really don’t play around. I just enjoy the reflection time and the experience of it.
