we are supposed to talk soon on the phone this morning…I checked out his gallery online and he is also quite the artist…amazing work. I am planning on going to his gallery once I get to talk to him and get an appointment. just floored by this guy’s power and talent.

update…just got off the phone with him…mellow guy…I am going to call tomorrow at his request to set up an appt. to go to talk to him in his gallery. I am giving him a copy of my book. He wants to read it !

I have needed something for a long time and I think discovering this artist, philanthropist and collector of action figures, a good , good thing. This gives me a lot of hope. Now I can go visit him sometimes, (I wouldn’t be a nuisance), but it gives me a place to admire art and talk with a friend.

I decided after reading my friend’s take on creativity that I will perform music on the street corner for the art walk this april 29th…I love playing for people…backed out of the painting exhibit because I fear I would be nervous…I’m like a fish in water playing for small crowds though.
have I alienated everyone for some reason? for the life of me I just don’t understand.
why hasn’t anyone said anything on this thread? I thought it was great that I’ve met this guy…I’m not hurt or anything…it doesn’t make sense to me that no one said anything.?

I play guitar and mandolin. I have a keyboard I have never toyed with. I don’t play piano. Cake did a cover of guitar man I love. You don’t talk about your music much. Maybe people would like to hear about it? Share! unless it’s against your philosophy. I need an audience myself, even if I make some mistakes. I would teach someone in my building what I know and I’d love to jam with some people. I’m a broken man and they don’t let me out often.
Probably not a great idea. If you hadn’t talked about him so much, it’d be different, but you’ve made him the entire purpose of linking.
