Are you sensitive?

I used to be ultra-sensitive. Now I try to take everything with a grain of salt. I try not to be hard on myself and others. It is easy to make a mistake and hard to forgive one. But I don’t think anyone is trying to hurt me intentionally so I practice forgiveness.

"Are you sensitive?"
yes

I’m sensitive to what people say sometimes, but not overly sensitive. What I’m really sensitive to is going somewhere in public or to see people I am not familiar with. Or going somewhere to see people you haven’t seen for a long time. For me it’s a physical thing, I feel it in my body. It’s almost like a stabbing pain in my chest or sides. It’s not really painful, but I do feel it. It feels like getting cut emotionally. I have gotten better, but I remember it was even worse before I was diagnosed. Especially when going over to a group of “friends” I didn’t really like or to a party.
