Hopefully technology can keep improving life for everyone. Life is so much better today than it was in the past. Think of what it must have been like fighting wars without penicillin and morphine, and they were always fighting wars in the past. Hopefully technology will continue to improve the standard of living today and in the future.

I wish they would launch an app that would distribute wasted good food to hungry people. there are several projects but government does not allow because food can go bad. i wish government would allow for the greater good.

MREs? Staples like rice and dried beans can be shipped in bulk and they have a decent shelf life.

We are heading towards the end but we won’t know the day or hour. Just be ready. And you do not have to live in fear the whole time. Do your best to live each day as if it were your last. I do not advise quitting a job and playing video games all day but when you get downtime just enjoy yourself.
When I was working I would go do Jiu Jitsu 3 or 4 times a week. It became my life.
I read somewhere that we waste on third of the food produced in America. This isn’t as conspicuous, but we waste about that many clothes. A good while back people were dropping off huge bags of clothes at our facility. People took to hoarding clothes. We’d go into a person’s room to move them out, and there would be bags and bags and bags of clothes in there. One time a girl was moving into our facility from our sister facility, and four people were carrying out the bags of clothes she brought with her for well over an hour. They stopped doing that and now we have to pay like $4 for a pair of pants and a shirt, but this one place has sales where you can buy good clothes for a dollar per item. I’ve gotten some really nice shirts there.

Our system is so messed up.

Burn and Destroy unsold inventory. Such a waste.
But yet we the people donate to charity. Makes no efficiency sense.

I remember in 2012 people said the world was going to end because of the mayan calendar. My friends response to it was “ok then im gonna ■■■■ someone first. Im gonna get laid” i laughed pretty hard 
I’ve donated my share, but they made me stop. I got a false charge on my checking account, and the bank employees refused to remove it. I don’t think I can afford to donate as much as I used to because my bank is ■■■■■■■ with me. I still have $30 a month going to UNHCR. That will have to do for now.

My take on it?
Too many people have too much money to see it go pear shaped. It’ll bite some others here soon.
Nothing new in the world. We have billionaires now which is rubbish because there’s way more people in the world but back in the 1800’s there were people with way too much money.
So no. Unless there’s a disconnect nothing will change but the slide into poverty for most till a correction…ie a war in other countries…
why a million years? why not tomorrow?

I think we are further away from becoming extinct than we ever were. Here’s why:
- We’re at the top of the food chain.
- There are 7 billion of us, and we live in almost every habitable area of the Earth.
- Sometime this century, we should be able to get our energy from non-polluting sources, such as nuclear, solar, and wind.
- A very large asteroid could wipe out humanity, but an asteroid big enough to do so is rare. It’s likely that in a century or so, we’ll have the technology to detect such large asteroids and then deflect them away from the Earth.
- Humanity is becoming more prosperous every decade. Prosperity brings potable water, good healthcare, education, etc.
All these decrease the chances that humans will somehow become extinct.
All these terrifying things
are caused by capitalism.
Change it to socialism,
and no more wars, no more exploitation,
no more ecological destruction,
no more inequality, no more bosses and slaves
