Yes it’s not good to scatter oneself too much. Just do what you can and what want
I like to draw, but my skills are not that good.
I did think about a career in drawing, but there is no market for stick men.
I like the state of mind painting gives me. I’m not good at realistic art but I have a knack of some kind. Outsider art.
Yes. Art supplies are expensive. There was someone in my town started their career by painting with tempera paints on paper grocery bags. He had a show of them. Really good stuff - however the supplies weren’t acid proof and wouldn"t stand up over time
I had a roommate who could make an intricate drawing of a good size in perfect detail and absolutely flawless, and he could do it in about three or four hours. He drew a lot of “Conan the Barbarian” stuff, but it seems to me that someone with that kind of dexterity could find a good job doing work that required very good fine motor skills, like maybe putting together computer motherboards, or something like that. I could not possible do a drawing like that, no matter how much time I had.
You can improve that skills
Depends what syick man
My voices wanted me to draw and tortured me for declining. After ten years I gave in and filled up a sketchbook. I’m concentrating on music.
