I can’t afford it, and don’t think I’d buy it even if I could. Anyone getting it?
It looks super cool to watch movies on it though, as you can get the feeling that you’re watching movies on a huge screen.

I want to immerse into a headset. I would if I could. Maybe in 3 years.
Its overpriced 3500$US.

Even then they are estimating only 450000 available on launch.
Plus a in person buying experience. Makes it even harder to get.

I can already do it on the Quest 2 without spending the extra $3,000. My Quest 3 arrives on Monday and it will have even better resolution. The Vision wasn’t designed for gaming, making it useless for me. Who wants a headset you can’t play Beat Saber on? Bleh.

I’m a shareholder in a cute and innocent(?) type of way.
In 2007 I bought a single share at an outfit named Oneshare.com(Now defunct but you can visit their competitor at giveashare.com )
Anyway it was for my bro’s birthday while I was working for Scottrade(A competitor of Etrade).
It was purchased the month the iPhone was released. For 95 US dollars. It split twice and now it’s 28 shares valued at 5 grand.
My POINT(ahahaha I love talking), but my point is, as a stakeholder, I’m not excited by the VisionPro. I don’t view it as an invention. I don’t view it as a gamechanger. And I don’t think it’s a good price point. And I’m not buying one for sure.

I get motion sickness if I am on quest 2 for too long.
I wouldn’t bother getting another one personally.
I am fortunate in that I am nearly immune to motion sickness. I was the one who could go on any ride without getting sick or dizzy when I as a kid.

My lens inserts arrived from Zenni today. I compared them with the inserts for my Q2 and they are different. I’m looking forward to seeing the improvement in the Q3 display.

If you have a smartphone you can watch vr movies in a theatre with a 30 dollar headset off amazon.

I really like the look of the Vision Pro but it is eye watering price. I am tempted to buy a Quest 3 to get fit like @shutterbug but I already have too much tech and it is one more device to learn and keep up to date etc. I keep watching the reviews on YouTube though !

In the future when headsets are more commonplace and affordable I will get one. I’m thinking of getting a Quest headset to play Beat Saber on though. Expensive for just one game though.

You’ll also want Supernatural if you can afford it, OH SHAPE, and Synth Riders for sure. Premium Bowling and Smash Drums are also lit.

Sounds like there’s more than just Beat Saber. I’m not much of a gamer these days so idk what’s out there for the Quest. Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll check those out.
