I keep mine organized on my Windows machines. On Linux there’s no desktop icons anymore with GNOME.
Here’s my Linux desktop, very exciting. 
I should really clean it up. Have stuff in folders. I started doing that but then I got lazy saving everything to the desktop.
When having a system… it’s hard to decide how specific you want it to be. For example, do you want one folder for all images, or do you want subfolders of different kinds of images made in different programs etc…
What is DaVinci’s Resolve? (One of the many icons on your desktop)
It’s a free video editing software (which is very good!).
I got my ap icons on my cellphone in control. It looks messy, but i know where to look.
My desktop used to look like that when I used a PC. Messy city.
I have a lot of icons aswell, but the difference is that I don´t bother to click “arrange by type” so it´s all scattered around the screen
