I’ve been watching Sara and Duck on netflix. It’s a British cartoon about a little girl named Sara who lives with her pet duck. I find the drawing style and simple plots very calming. Can anyone relate to this?
I love children cartoons and anime, it’s a nice and relaxing experiences to just watch after a hard day.
I like inspirational children’s literature. My favorite author is George MacDonald. I felt safe with such stuff.

I like to pet hello kitty when I’m stressed out.
I have recently discovered Pusheen and may get a little friend for kitty.
My hubbie doesn’t like any pets. Cat or dog.
I used to read classic children’s books when I was really stressed or having panick attacks. I found them soothing for some reason. Specifically, the Winnie the Pooh and House on Pooh Corner books, Paddington Bear, and Alice in Wonderland.
I still have those books but haven’t dusted them off in a long time. Hmmm, I guess that must mean I haven’t been too stressed or panicky in a good long while.
Long ago when I was stressed I couldn’t even read. And there wasn’t even Internet to watch cute cat videos.
So I had a picture book of cats and one of horses I would look at.
Tv would freak me out too much.
I miss watching Arthur before school. Set the mood for a good day.
Then you find everyone is not at all free-spirited, friendly, high-minded, intelligible and quite vulgar, mean, selectively nice, and obsessed with macho-man or “cool” personalities. . .
Children’s books, cartoons, movies…teach more than just the kids.
I’ve been watching oddbods with my little one on YouTube…they don’t talk so its all slapstick…but its pretty good…
For some reason infomercials calm me .
Lol whatever works…they make Me wanna buy a bunch of dumb ■■■■…swords axes knives…non of which I need…
Yes to kids cartoons and I am also with @5713 about infomercials soothing me.
I have two big picture books, one on castles the other on knights. I’m not doing well if I drag them out to stare at.
