Oh wow! That sounds so amazing. Never been to Mexico. I love the language though.
Totally would love to go to Oxaca or however it is spelled.

I love what I’ve seen of Mexico on tv.
Beautiful!
The cops are notoriously corrupt.
There are many dangerous places in Mexico, I would be very careful
I vistied Mexico when I was very young with my great aunt and mom.
It was a lot more peaceful back in the 80’s.
Overall Mexico is a very beautiful country with a very rich heritage and culture, just try and stay out of the border towns.
I’m proud to have heritage from there.
Dolphins are so cool. They are some of the smartest animals on our planet.
Yeah we were going to try and fit Oaxaca in- foodie paradise, but our schedule is a bit tight!
I’ve only been to Cancun, but it’s such a tourist trap it’s like Little America. They’ll do anything for the Yankee dollar. The food at my hotel was great, but Cancun city was depressing, very big contrast to Cancun the touristy area. BUT I heard STAY AWAY from Mexico City, they like to kidnap people there, esp gringos, and if the ransom is not paid they just kill the hostage. Bear in mind this is hearsay, but you might want to check it out.
I’ve been to Mexico. But where you will be staying will be a bubble. If you travel further into the cities, don’t go alone at all. Hope you have a massively fun food adventure! Whatever you buy with the street fairs be sure to negotiate and haggle the prices. They will charge too much if they think you are a tourist. It’s fun to haggle though. If you go to a food market, they have some of the most amazing spices not seen anywhere else.
